In this new series, I share what shows I’m currently watching, either from the current anime season or from my backlog. I like to try and clear out my queue before watching new shows but I make exceptions to this rule when it comes to sequels that are currently releasing. Here’s hoping I’ve finished these shows before I make another post like this. Feel free to comment what you think about the shows below and don’t hesitate to recommend some other shows that you really like from this season.

Attack on Titan Season Two

Love it or hate it, Attack on Titan is back. I know, I know, Eren is a bad main character, the dialogue can be shitty and sure, the second season took forever to come out. I don’t care. The first season of Attack on Titan is what made me get into anime in the first place, so I hold this series very close to my heart.

My Hero Academia Season Two

Yup… Bones does it again. The first season of this was awesome. Such a colorful and touching superhero story with a cast of characters brimming with potential and from what we got in the first season, I doubt that potential will be wasted.

Haikyuu!! Season 3

I’m taking way too long to finish this series. Haikyuu!! is one of my favorite sports anime and I look forward to its continuation in the future.

Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders Season 1

I don’t even know what to say about this… It’s Jojo… not really anything I can say about it to sell you on it.

Neon Genesis Evangelion

I’m finally watching this so I don’t have to turn in my nerd card. It’s just as awesome as everyone says it is.

Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu

This show is a masterful display of a performing art I have never heard of. I would love to finish its two seasons and write a review on it. It’s something special that we rarely get in anime.
