Where Have I Been?

Fuck.

I mean this is bad. I’ve been telling myself to continue writing in my spare time for months, but stuff kept getting in the way. At first, my job was taking up a lot of my time and leaving me not wanting to do… anything when I wasn’t at work. And now… things are a little more complicated… but also exciting.

Ladies, gentlemen, and others, I am now an Anime Feature writer for GameRant, and I have been since May. The reason I haven’t had time to write a bunch here is that I’ve been working two jobs, my day job, and my writing job. So I wanted to finally address where I’ve been and talk about where I want this blog to go.

So as a writer for GameRant, there’s obviously a quota I need to reach when writing. This takes up quite a bit of my writing time, so I tend to try and pitch the ideas that I would normally write about here because I have a lot to say about a lot, as you all know. The truth is, I’ve been missing you all.

I know I never got huge on WordPress, but I did sorta envelop myself into a community of writers who are extremely passionate about the same things I am. And I was seeing a steady growth in readers that any aspiring writer should be proud of, no matter how humble.

I was originally going to make this post a little link dump of the stuff that I’ve written for GameRant so far, but now that I’m typing this, I have more in mind. The truth is, I’m sad that I haven’t written on WordPress in a while and I miss seeing comments and likes from my mutuals or reading their posts.

The thing is, I’m going to resolve to figure out my schedule and make time to continue writing for these blogs, mostly for myself, because I love what I’ve created. However, I also want to thank every single reader of this blog for checking out what I have to say.

I know I’m not perfect, and when I look back at my oldest posts, I definitely can feel how far I’ve come, but I can’t imagine I would have had the confidence to keep going if not for the knowledge that people were reading what I wrote and enjoying it.

So thank you to my followers. People like Karandi, Irina, Scott, and anyone else that seemed to read and like my posts a bunch. You’re all very cool people and I should have asked to collab years ago.

This sounds like a goodbye and like… no? I’m not going anywhere and I sure as shit ain’t gonna stop paying for this dope ass domain name. I’m gonna write more here, I promise. I just wanted to express my gratitude to anyone that has come here and supported my little venture with a fraction of your time.

I hope you all have enjoyed your time… because holy shit I’ve got some good stuff coming down the pipeline. Every rejected pitch at my main job is another draft in this WordPress. Just you wait.
